ABOUT Zephyr eyed silkmoth (Automeris zephyria-SGCN)
They are said to live in the Mountains of central New Mexico south to the Guadalupe mountains of Texas. They are said to be in decline because of reported spraying programs and poor land management.
According to TPWD this species could be anywhere from Critically Imperiled to Vulnerable- (it appears more information is necessary to determine?).
